Meet Dr. Paul B. Griggs
Ophthalmology

Paul B. Griggs joined Pacific Northwest Retina in November 2025. He is looking forward to the professional opportunities that PNR will provide and to collaborating with new colleagues and staff. He has previously practiced at Northwest Eye Surgeons in Seattle since 2013. His practice is focused on the management of medical and surgical disorders of the retina and vitreous. Particular areas of interest include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, inherited retinal disease, and uveitis. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Following training, Dr. Griggs joined the Virginia Mason Medical Center, where he directed the Vitreoretinal Service for 22 years. He participates in clinical trials, works with industry leaders developing treatments for retinal disorders, and has directed and presented at numerous medical conferences.
